E-Tutorials for the Development of Competences Ragarding the application of Digital Tools in Chemistry

Introductory Remarks

The Project OER.DigiChem.nrw is a joint project of the Heinrich-Heine-Universität Düsseldorf, the Bergischen Universität Wuppertal and the Technischen Hochschule Köln. It is funded by Northrhine-Westfalia as part of OER.Content.nrw from 10/1/2020 bis zum 12/31/2022.Westfalen gefördert.

Goals

Todays studends are often called "digital natives". However, many students exhibit considerable dificits regarding the application of digital tools. In Chemistry these competences are playing an important role. This holds true regarding the use of chemistry specific software as well as regarding  special features in standard software.

This project will help students acquiring the necessary competences. One focus of our project are interactive video tutorials. They will be supplied to the studends using the e-learnig plattforms at the specific universities.
